Welcome to the BCcampus Regional Roadshow!
This spring, we’re gearing up to embark on an educational adventure like no other with BCcampus’ dynamic Roadshow team. As we hit the road, we’re excited to offer a carefully curated selection of workshops and sessions, tailored to explore and build skills on trends in post-secondary education teaching and learning.
What We Offer
Our Roadshow sessions will cover a range of hot topics in post-secondary education, including generative artificial intelligence, open education, and the B.C. Digital Literacy Framework. Each workshop and session is designed to fuel participants’ curiosity and drive their growth as an educator and facilitator.
This year, we’re visiting three locations in British Columbia:
- Okanagan College – Kelowna Campus, June 10-11, 2024
- Thompson Rivers University – Kamloops Campus, June 13-14, 2024
- Selkirk College – Castlegar Campus, June 17-18, 2024
Each registration for the Roadshow event includes access to two days of learning sessions and admission to a social mixer. Additionally, the BCcampus Travel Grant is available for individuals residing in rural and remote regions of British Columbia who wish to participate.
A Learning Adventure
At each Roadshow stop, participants will have the opportunity to build their skills in key areas including:
- Accessibility
- Positionality statements
- Liberating structures
- Visual practices
- Finding, adopting, and creating OER
Every stop will include plenty of opportunities for engaging, socializing, and connecting with colleagues and the BCcampus team. We look forward to sharing some adventures and road trip snacks with you!
