Q. What is included in my registration?
A. Two full days of in-person workshops and sessions and an invitation to attend a social event.

Q. How soon can I register?
A. Registration is now open! Registration is online on the BCcampus Regional Roadshow website. Choose your preferred event location from the main menu, click the “Register” button, and complete the registration form. Please check your spam/junk folders for confirmation emails. For assistance with registration, contact events@bccampus.ca.

Q. When does registration close?
A. The last day to register for Okanagan College is June 3, 2024, at 11:59 p.m. PST.
The last day to register for Thompson Rivers University is June 7, 2024, at 11:59 p.m. PST.
The last day to register for Selkirk College is June 10, 2024, at 11:59 p.m. PST. -
Q. What if I need to cancel my registration?
A. We understand plans can change unexpectedly. If you find yourself unable to attend, we request you inform us as soon as possible by contacting events@bccampus.ca. This enables us to allocate resources efficiently and accommodate more attendees. While there are no penalties for cancelling, we greatly appreciate your courtesy in notifying us.

The BCcampus Regional Roadshow

Q. Where will the Roadshow be stopping?
A. The BCampus Regional Roadshow will be making three scheduled stops at Okanagan College (Kelowna Campus), Thompson Rivers University (Kamloops Campus), and Selkirk College (Castlegar Campus).

Q. What is the registration cost?
A. This event is completely free of charge.
For those travelling to attend the Roadshow, the BCcampus Travel Grant is intended to support access to professional learning events for B.C. post-secondary educators and instructional support staff who do not have sufficient funds for travel and professional development. Learn more and apply by May 6, 2024. -
Q. Can I attend multiple stops on the Roadshow?
A. Yes! B.C. PSI educators are welcome to attend the event at all roadshow locations.

Q. Will the program schedules be the same for all the locations?
A. Each institution has selected their preferred program. Please refer to the specific institution’s schedule:

Q. How long is the event?
A. Each stop will have two days of programming. Each day runs from approximately 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. There will be a social event after sessions conclude on the first day. Please refer to the schedule on the website for details:

Q. Will there be a recording of the sessions?
A. Due to the workshop format, we will not be recording or livestreaming the sessions.

Q. Who is expected to attend the Roadshow events?
A. The BCcampus Regional Roadshow is designed for B.C. post-secondary faculty, instructors, facilitators, and educators. Attendees must register with a B.C. PSI email address to attend.

Q. What should I wear?
A. Dress is business casual – please wear anything comfortable for you.

Q. What do I need to bring?
A. Supplies will be provided, but we recommend bringing a pen and notebook for any personal notes or additional information you may want to jot down during the sessions.

Q. What if I don’t want my picture taken?
A. We will identify you by your name tags with either a red lanyard or red dot. In the event our photographer catches you in the background of a photo, this will help us identify you and make sure we do not publish the photo.

Q. Are there any social events planned?
A. At the end of the first day there will be a networking social where we will enjoy drinks and light snacks. Please refer to the schedule on the website for details:

Q. What if I need a break during the event?
A. If you feel the need for a break during the event, each institution will have a dedicated Quiet Room. This space is designed for relaxation, meditation, and quiet rest. Feel free to use it as needed to recharge and take a moment for yourself.
