Registration

• Q. What is the registration cost and what does it include?

  A.

  This event is free of charge.
  Depending on location, your registration includes one to two days of programming, and a catered off-site social event. Please refer to the schedule for more details:

  • Stop 1 Schedule – Nanaimo

  • Stop 2 Schedule – Comox Valley

  • Stop 3 Schedule – Prince Rupert

  • Stop 4 Schedule – Terrace

• Q. How do I register?

  A.

  Register online by selecting your preferred event location from the main menu. Click the “Register” button, and complete the registration form. Please check your spam folder for confirmation emails. For assistance with registration, contact eventreg@bccampus.ca

• Q. When does registration close?

  A.

  Registration for each Roadshow stop closes at 11:59 p.m. PST the day before the stop.

• Q. What if I need to cancel my registration?

  A.

  We understand plans can change. If you’re unable to attend, please let us know as soon as possible at eventreg@bccampus.ca. This helps us reduce unnecessary costs and waste, and allows us to offer your spot to someone else. There’s no penalty for cancelling, but we appreciate you letting us know.

The BCcampus Regional Roadshow

• Q. Who should attend?

  A.

  Whether you’re an educator, student, or simply exploring teaching and learning, you are welcome at the Roadshow.

• Q. Can I attend multiple stops on the Roadshow?

  A.

  Yes! You are welcome to attend the event at all Roadshow locations.

• Q. Will the program schedules be the same for all the locations?

  A.

  Each institution has selected their preferred program. Please refer to the stop’s schedule:

  • Stop 1 Schedule – Nanaimo

  • Stop 2 Schedule – Comox Valley

  • Stop 3 Schedule – Prince Rupert

  • Stop 4 Schedule – Terrace

   

• Q. How long is the event?

  A.

  Each stop will have one or two days of programming, depending on location. Each day runs from approximately 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Please refer to the schedule on the website for details:

  • Stop 1 Schedule – Nanaimo

  • Stop 2 Schedule – Comox Valley

  • Stop 3 Schedule – Prince Rupert

  • Stop 4 Schedule – Terrace

   

• Q. Will there be a recording of the sessions?

  A.

  Due to the workshop format, we will not be recording or live streaming the sessions.

• Q. What should I wear?

  A.

  Dress is business casual – please wear anything comfortable for you.

• Q. Will food be provided?

  A.

  Please be advised that catering will not be provided except for the off-site social events.

• Q. What do I need to bring?

  A.

  Supplies will be provided, but we recommend bringing a pen and notebook for anything you may want to jot down during the sessions.

• Q. What if I don’t want my picture taken?

  A.

  Please let us know in your registration. We will identify you by a red lanyard on your name tag. In the event a photographer catches you in the background of a photo, we will ensure we do not publish the photo.

• Q. Are you offering childcare?

  A.

  Childcare services will not be available during this event.
