  • Social Event 4:00 - 6:00 p.m.

    The BCcampus Roadshow team will be hosting a social event at The Nineteenth from approximately 4:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.

    We will provide a variety of menu options for you to choose from along with two drink tickets for beer, wine, cider, or any non-alcoholic beverages. Dietary requests will be available.

    The Nineteeth is an approximate eight-minute drive from the campus. If you don’t have transportation, we have arrangements with Castlegar Taxi for those who require taxi service. Please pick up a taxi voucher from the registration desk. We will also offer taxi vouchers following the social event. Please do not drink and drive. Castlegar has limited taxis availability, so we encourage everyone to share rides.

Day 2 - June 18, 2024

  • Digital Well-Being 9:00 - 10:00 a.m.

    As a facilitator in a digital age, not only do we need to use technologies purposefully to support our well-being as a model for our learners, but we also must keep learning to enforce digital wellness programs to help our learners navigate digital spaces effectively and healthily.

    This session will be facilitated by Helena Prins.

  • Break 10:00 - 10:15 a.m.

  • Visual Practice Essentials 10:15-11:35 a.m.

    Get hands-on with a practical introduction to basic drawing and lettering skills essential for various visual facilitation and note-taking techniques, such as graphic recording, graphic facilitation, and Sketchnotes. Participants will engage in live, large-scale visual work on walls, as well as smaller-scale projects on flip charts, letter-size paper, notebooks, or digital tablets. This fast-paced session will guide you in incorporating more visuals into your work through drawing, regardless of your art or drawing background. Supplies will be provided.

    This session will be facilitated by Tracy Roberts.
